We are seeking experienced AWS DevOps engineers to join our team of professionals in assessing, planning and implementing cloud infrastructure requirements for a number of applications.
Responsibilities
- Work with the CTO to assess, plan and implement cloud infrastructure projects
- Supervision of infrastructure, including cloud services and application servers
- Responsible for service uptime, infosec and continuity, including monitoring and backups
- Create backend tools and scripts for management, reporting, monitoring and automation of tasks
- Being instrumental in working with developers on projects, rollouts and managing scalability
- Automate the build and deployment process
- Recommend DevOps and AWS best practices for security, performance, and cost optimizations
- Self-motivated and able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
- Meet deadlines
Requirements
- Professional experience with the following AWS services: EC2, RDS, Elasticache, EFS, Route 53, ELB or ALB, ECS, Redshift
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate a bonus
- Strong scripting experience with proficiency in Python, Bash and Ruby
- Linux system administration experience
- Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD tools (GitLabCI, Ansible, Terraform, Docker/Compose, Kubernetes)
- Experience using consolidated logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, New Relic, Kibana, Graylog)
- Experience using standard IT security practices such as encryption and certificates
- Experience using Git repositories
- Good communication skills
