Responsibilities
- Conversion of layered design mock-ups (typically in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator formats) into responsive HTML5 and CSS
- Creation of responsive web sites, landing pages and HTML emails
- Creation of pages and posts for review
- WordPress theme customization
- Source and deploy various WordPress plugins on websites
- Optimize layouts and performance issues
- Backup, transfer and deploy multiple WordPress websites and databases
- Collaborate with design and marketing staff
Requirements
- Experience in developing WordPress websites
- Solid foundation in PHP development
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS and Javascript programming (Vanilla JS and JQuery)
- Working knowledge of MySQL databases
- Experience using Git repositories
- Good communication skills
